That decision, which saw BN working with PN to secure government formation in the state, did not sit well with her. She had openly questioned the arrangement, and the party's failure to discuss it internally before committing was, for her, a step too far.

During her years at Wisma MCA, she was always sharp, always efficient, always clear about what needed to be done. Whether handling kidnapping cases, scams or other crises, she worked with a steady hand.

Her career had been defined by consistency rather than convenience. That consistency is precisely what made her position untenable when the party shifted direction without proper consultation.

Now the question is: what comes next?

Some netizens have suggested she might join DAP. That is not going to happen. Her stance, her loyalty and her viewpoint have always been heavily anti-DAP. That is not a bridge she will cross.

What about PN? Again, her stance against PAS remains strong. That was one major reason she had a fight to begin with — the internal pressure that ultimately led to her decision to leave the party. She is not about to join a coalition that includes PAS.

That leaves Bersama. Last I checked, she has not been too against it. She was never exactly pro-Bersama either, but if she wants to stay in politics and refuses to work with DAP, it seems to be the only viable path.

It is not a perfect fit, but it might be the only coalition that does not violate her core positions.

What about MCA? She has not left the party entirely — only the secretary-general post. It is possible she remains a member and continues her work behind the scenes. But to be honest, I doubt it will end there.

Without a doubt, she will take a long break. She has earned it. But I will be expecting her return, very soon. People like her do not stay quiet for long. They have too much to offer.
